What this service covers
Photo eyes are the reason a modern door will not close on a child or a bicycle. When they drift out of alignment, get sun-blinded or corrode, the door either refuses to close or — far worse — closes without a working reversal path.
- Sensors realigned, re-bracketed and locked at the correct height
- Corroded wiring and failed sensor eyes replaced
- Sun-glare and reflection issues resolved with shields or relocation
- Full auto-reverse test on both the photo eye and the door's force setting

Safety Sensor Alignment questions
- My door closes a few inches then goes back up. Why?
- Almost always a blocked or misaligned photo eye, or a force setting that is too sensitive. Both are quick to correct.
- How do I test auto-reverse myself?
- Lay a 2x4 flat under the door and close it. The door must reverse on contact. If it does not, stop using it and call us.
