What this service covers
Without backup power, an outage means pulling the red emergency release and lifting a heavy door by hand — awkward at the best of times and impossible for many people. A backup battery keeps the opener running for dozens of cycles until power returns.
- Compatible backup units installed on supported opener models
- Typically 20 or more cycles on a single charge
- Automatic changeover with low-battery indication
- Manual release operation demonstrated before we leave

Battery Backup Installation questions
- How long does the battery last?

- Can it be added to an older opener?
- Only some models accept a backup unit. If yours does not, we can quote a replacement opener that includes one.
