Battery Backup Installation

Backup battery units so the opener still works during a power outage.

What this service covers

Without backup power, an outage means pulling the red emergency release and lifting a heavy door by hand — awkward at the best of times and impossible for many people. A backup battery keeps the opener running for dozens of cycles until power returns.

  • Compatible backup units installed on supported opener models
  • Typically 20 or more cycles on a single charge
  • Automatic changeover with low-battery indication
  • Manual release operation demonstrated before we leave

Batteries generally last three to five years, and the opener will signal when replacement is due.
