Keyless Entry Systems

External keypads that let you open the garage with a secure code, no remote required.

What this service covers

A keypad is the simplest way to get into a garage without carrying anything — useful for kids, runners, dog walkers and contractors. We mount weather-rated units in a location that is convenient but not visible from the street, and set up codes properly.

  • Weather-rated backlit keypads mounted and sealed
  • Permanent household codes plus temporary codes for guests or trades
  • Rolling-code compatible units for modern openers
  • Battery life and lockout behavior explained before we leave

Keyless Entry Systems questions

Are keypads secure?
Modern rolling-code keypads are, provided the code is not a birthday or house number and the keypad is not in direct view of the street.
Can I give a code that expires?
Most current openers support temporary codes with a set number of uses or hours. We configure them for you.
