What this service covers
Standard tracks turn horizontal right above the opening, eating the ceiling space a two-post lift needs. A high lift conversion extends the vertical track so the door parks higher and closer to the ceiling, freeing usable height without a new door.
- Extended vertical track with high-lift drums and longer cables
- Torsion shaft relocated and spring set recalculated
- Jackshaft wall-mount opener to clear the ceiling entirely
- Available clearance measured and confirmed before ordering

High Lift Conversion questions
- How much extra clearance do I gain?
- It depends on ceiling height, but gaining two to four feet of usable clearance is common.
- Do I need a new opener?
- Usually a jackshaft opener is required, since a ceiling rail would sit in the space you are trying to free up.
